CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants)

CIMA approached Marketforce to manage their annual awards dinner in November 2004.

Marketforce were responsible for liaising with the venue, sourcing suppliers for the event, including designing the stage set for the gala dinner - turning a conference room into a glamorous space for the awards dinner in just two hours. A representative from CIMA described the event as "brilliantly delivered".

Marketforce handled the following areas:

  • Project management of the event
  • All event planning and logistics
  • Attendee registration process including processing payment and production of the registration pack
  • Supplier management and liaison
  • Communication with AV and design
  • Branding at the event
  • Advice and design of the look and feel of the awards dinner including lighting, entertainment etc.
  • Budget control and management
  • On-site management team at the dinner venue
  • Table plan and co-ordination
  • Sourcing awards trophies for the event
  • Liaison with the guest speaker onsite
  • Full post event de-brief meeting with CIMA following the event
