Conference Producer

This role involves the research and production of strategic business conferences across a range of industry sectors. It will give you the opportunity to develop your research, analysis and communication skills, as well as giving you an in-depth understanding of the industry sectors you are working in and the issues that are affecting markets and individual companies. You will take responsibility for your own conference from day one, liaising with the marketing, sponsorship and event management teams as well as working with speakers and clients.

Key responsibilities:

  • Industry analysis: conducting desk research and telephone research
  • Programme creation: structuring and writing strategic conference agendas
  • Securing speakers: identifying and inviting leading industry executives
  • Project management: working with and briefing internal teams and clients
  • The successful candidate will be analytical and self-motivated and able to work well both independently and as part of a team. An excellent academic record (2.1 or above only) and outstanding communication skills are essential. No experience necessary.

Marketing Executive

Are you an enthusiastic, committed team player who can respond well under pressure and be creative whilst maintaining a calm frame of mind?

In this role you will be responsible for producing cost effective, highly targeted direct marketing plans for Marketforce's portfolio of International conferences. You will execute these plans, allocate spend and resources to generate the best returns whilst liaising with internal clients and producers with regards to planning, progress and market activity.

Sales Executive

Are you an enthusiastic, committed team player who can generate revenue over the phone?

In this role you will be responsible for securing senior level delegates to attend Marketforce's portfolio of International conferences.

Key skills required include: excellent communication, good persuasion, ability to understand business issues and a very positive attitude. Must be target driven and enjoy working in a competitive environment. Languages a bonus.

This is a telesales role so good telephone manner essential. Opportunity to attend International events.

PR Account Executive

This entry-level position provides a gateway into the world of corporate PR, working on the media and communications strategies of a number of professional, financial and broader business-to-business clients.

The role presents an excellent opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of business and to develop existing writing skills into strong editorial expertise, from drafting press releases to producing client publications. It is particularly suitable for a bright and ambitious graduate keen to utilise his or her academic talents in a commercial context.

We offer a high degree of responsibility and the chance to develop core PR skills from the outset, with frequent engagement with senior management (both ours and our clients').

Events Coordinator

Marketforce are looking to recruit a graduate for the position of Event Coordinator.

We are looking for a creative, client facing and enthusiastic person with excellent communication skills, who can work both independently and as part of a team, and has a proven interest in Event Management.

Excellent organisational skills and a high level of professionalism are the two key skills required for this job.

Candidates must demonstrate a clear commitment to a career in event management, being able to demonstrate some experience of events administration/organisation, and have a strong academic background.

The position of Event Coordinator involves managing 15 - 20 conferences and special interest meetings a year, both in the run up to the event and on-site. This will entail liaising with suppliers, clients, sponsors and senior level speakers on a day to day basis and working with the Marketforce sponsorship, marketing and production departments in the run up to the events. You will be working with Blue Chip companies across a number of sectors and the majority of the events are held in London and Oxford, however, there may be the opportunity to work on events held in mainland Europe.

The ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining outstanding attention to detail is critical and your experience must show the proven ability to multitask on many different projects, strong admin skills and the ability to prioritise effectively when working to tight deadlines.

Database Research Executive

We are regularly seeking enthusiastic people to work within the research department, a small international and friendly team. Researching, locating, contacting and updating company and contact details within our database will be part of your day to day duties. The ideal candidate will be a reliable, self-motivated person with a good telephone manner. Knowledge of a European language would be an advantage, though not essential.
