Director, PR
Julian Goldsmith started his PR and marketing communications career in-house at Fortune 500 company ADP Inc in its European headquarters in London. He then worked for Sir Clive Sinclair's Sinclair Research, gaining his fair share of crisis management experience. After PR consultancy roles at Biss Lancaster and Hill Holliday, Julian started his own business, Sector PR, which become a leading specialist financial, payment and professional services consultancy. Julian's clients included The Boston Consulting Group, Barclays, L&G, Hastings Direct and the launch of PayPoint.
Julian sold Sector PR to Ogilvy PR Worldwide (WPP Group) where he became European Managing Director of its professional services business. He then worked for his own niche PR business for clients Mercer Management Consulting, Barclays, Switch/Maestro, Hiscox and Aviva. Julian joined Marketforce in 2006 to lead the PR team.
Julian is a graduate of the University of Bradford Management Centre; a member and former committee member of the Chartered Institute of PR Corporate + Financial Group; a former committee member of the UK Public Relations Consultants Association and a member of the Professional Services Marketing Group.
Julian is a keen tennis player, drawing inspiration - but not competence - from having spent most of his life living in and around Wimbledon.
