Renewables 2009 - Overview

Renewables 2009 returns this year at a pivotal time for the UK energy industry. As the country works towards 2020 and beyond, demand for renewable energy has never been higher. This leading event, now in its fourth year, continues to provide an excellent platform for senior industry leaders to discuss the strategic direction of the renewables sector. Among the topics to be discussed are the government's aims for the long-awaited Renewable Energy Strategy, the outlook for offshore Round 3 and, perhaps most importantly, the prospects for renewables investment in the current economic climate. In addition, our industry-leading speakers will be tackling issues such as the UK infrastructure and planning regime and the prospects for identifying profitable renewables projects - including our brand new renewable technology showcase.
