The Future of UK Postal Services - Overview

The Future of UK Postal Services took place at an critical time for the sector. The very morning of the conference, Lord Mandelson had stated in a broadcast interview that the Postal Bill was to be postponed, which made for an interesting start to the day as Lord Young clarified the government's position. Clear themes emerged throughout the day including reform of the regulatory regime, the importance of working together to transform operations, and the impact of digital media on the traditional sender/receiver/customer relationship, making for some lively debate and discussion.
